This rebrand for Whole Foods Market was created in order to refresh and update the current company branding. I was influenced by the traditional colour palette and aesthetic of the original logo, but wanted to create a more refined and modern look for the company. Eating good food, and understanding certain health risks and benefits of particular foods, are becoming extremely popular with todays younger generations. The logo reflects a more down to earth attitude, and feels less corporate, which is shown through the welcoming curves of the letterforms in the logo. The aesthetic ensures that the logo can appeal to a younger audience, while maintaining certain elements such as the circle format, so the logo continues to be recognizable. Although that is the case, the logo still showcases the professionalism of the company, but with an elevated modern aesthetic.
